James is an experienced executive that has created and sold more than one company operating at the nexus of consumer loyalty and payments. As CEO of The Loyalty Point, he is focused on creating solutions to capitalize on the disruption in both the customer loyalty and payments industries and the shift of consumer interaction to the mobile channel.

Before founding The Loyalty Point (www.theloyaltypoint.com), James worked in C-level positions in the banking, credit card marketing and consumer loyalty business. He founded Ernex, one of the first companies enabling customer loyalty programs to work in real time with consumers at the retail point-of-sale, launching a number of programs with Levi Strauss, Eddie Bauer, and other retailers. Before being sold to RBC in 19XX, Ernex was named in the Hot 50 List in Profit Magazines in 2010 and James was the recipient of the BIV 40 under 40 Award.

Since that time, James has provided strategic advice to notable brands in multiple industries. He delivered pioneering work in gift cards with early adaptors such as Radio Shack and Nike, and has been involved in developing innovative loyalty solutions for credit card issuers including RBC, CIBC, Citibank, Sears, and Home Depot.
